Kevin B. Acklin – Past President

Kevin Acklin is a partner and member of the Corporate Practice Group and leads the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice, in particular with respect to private equity and venture capital transactions. He advises a variety of clients on various corporate matters, including debt and equity financings, securities, technology, emerging company formation and growth, and corporate governance issues. Kevin is also active in the Pittsburgh nonprofit community, and manages the firm’s pro bono representation of victims of domestic violence in protection from abuse matters.

Prior to joining Leech Tishman, Kevin was associated with the Pittsburgh offices of Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP and K&L Gates LLP. Before moving back to his hometown of Pittsburgh, Kevin began his legal career with Ropes & Gray LLP in Boston.
